Star Alliance airlines have Athens on sale with flights as low as $540s from Boston, Washington IAD and Chicago. Ticket prices are low $600s from Newark EWR and Atlanta and upper $600s from Los Angeles, Houston and Miami. Low fares are available from September to May 15, 2017 in each month, but the lowest fares and the best weather coincide with September and May departures.
In this post I look at departures next May 2017, early in the tourist season when prices are lower than summer, but the weather might be even better than summer.
