Miami is a hotbed of low fare activity today for domestic and international flights. United moves its fare war front line to Miami for low priced flights all around Europe with fares in $490s and $500s to Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Ireland.
American/Oneworld and Delta/SkyTeam match some of these Star Alliance low fares to Germany and Switzerland.
American is still hammering away at Scandinavia with ticket prices in the upper $400s and low $500s to Denmark and Sweden, while SAS still dominates the Nordic low fare scene with low $400s to Denmark, Norway, Sweden and even Finland, the home base of Oneworld airline FinnAir.
Germany
Munich and Hamburg are the primary low fare airports, but there are several other secondary airports with low fares.
Most routes are on sale for late Oct – mid-Dec departures.
