Last week I wrote about this deal from Atlanta to Athens at $666 round trip with the attribute of low fare travel at Christmas to Greece with Delta/SkyTeam. Well now, 9 days later, this route has dropped by $100, down to $548 round trip on KLM for departures beginning Oct 6 and rise to $573 for departures on nearly every date Nov 1 through March 17, 2017. The one aspect that was better in last week’s sale were summer fares to Athens at $666 in August, otherwise this is the better deal for travel in other months to Athens.
And this fare has availability during the December holidays too.
United/Star Alliance have ATL-ATH at $601 to $629 over same time period. Air Canada drops to $576 for departures May 2-15, 2017.
