Fare War Delta/SkyTeam $557-$598 Los Angeles to Germany/Switzerland 9 cities Oct-Dec; $50 more Aug-Oct

Delta posted lower fares in the upper $500s round trip to several cities in Germany and Switzerland, probably as a response to low United fares to Paris, Rome and Milan today. Cities on sale include Berlin, Bremen, Dresden, Dusseldorf, Hanover, Nuremburg and possibly more. Basel and Zurich, Switzerland are also on sale, along with Mulhouse, France, another airport near Basel.

Most of the fares I checked are either Air France or KLM tickets.
