LOT $480-$500 New York JFK to Paris, $530 Geneva Sep-Dec

LOT Polish Airlines has low fares from New York JFK at $480 round trip to Paris and $530 to Geneva for travel from October 1 to December 7 on nearly every date. Fares to Paris are $500 for September departures and $570 to Geneva. These flights route through Warsaw and many itineraries allow for a 19 to 22 hour overnight layover in Warsaw. After spending this past week in Krakow, Poland I’d look at an overnight in Warsaw as a bonus for a chance to visit Poland for the day. Poland is a happening low cost destination where you can get another experience in Europe in a very cool city with cheap hotels, food and drink prices. The average price for a 0.5L beer in Poland is about $2 USD, regardless if you are in a museum, restaurant or hotel, except perhaps the USA brand tourist-catering hotels where prices might be higher. Holiday Inn Krakow charged higher price for breakfast than many fine dining restaurants charge for a dinner in that city.
