A hot fare available today from San Francisco to Bali DPS is Singapore Airlines at $649 round trip. I have written about low Star Alliance fares to China and Southeast Asia twice before in the past ten days. Each day I see multiple airfare deal posts from one US city to one Asian airport on other airfare deal sites. These deals have been around for more than a week with United/ANA/Asiana/Air Canada low fares from multiple USA airports to multiple China and Southeast Asia airports.
Singapore is one of the better deals since this route is often quite a bit pricier than other airports in the region. Last week Kuala Lumpur seemed like the lowest priced airport. Today it looks like Manila MNL, Philippines is the low fare spot from many of these USA airports.
Departure Dates: Low fares are found from late August to early December.

San Francisco and Los Angeles have lowest fares. Not all these cities are discounted from all the airports mentioned like Chicago, Houston and Newark.
Newark actually has some fares lower than from California airports like EWR – Taipei TPE at $673.06 round trip Nov 1-8 with United and even down to $623.16 for Asiana JFK-TPE.
