Miami to Europe with TAP Portugal was one of the first fare sales I noticed early today with fares in the upper $600s to regional airports across Spain, France, Italy and Benelux airports. Departure dates start in mid-August, a good time to get out of the Miami heat.
I did not write these fares up since TAP Portugal economy T fare class does not earn miles with United Mileage Plus and many other airlines. Miles & More is the best program to credit TAP Portugal T fares for 25% flight miles.
There is good value in these TAP Portugal fares if you want to travel to a regional airport in Spain since these airports go on sale far less frequently than Barcelona $691 and Madrid $692

The part of this fare war that changed since I first saw the TAP Portugal fares about 8 hours ago is Iberia and FinnAir dropped fares to regional airports in Germany down to the $600s and Star Alliance matched those fares. Also there are some very low fares to Scandinavia and Helsinki with SAS from October to March 2017.
