Athens is a good price today for late summer travel from San Francisco with United Airlines/Star Alliance or Delta/SkyTeam carriers at $692 to $722 round trip for departures beginning August 20. The lowest round trip fare in August is $708-$709 with Air Canada and United. Prices in September drop to $$692 to $700 with United and remain at $722 with Delta. There is good availability from August 20 through October. American’s low fare is $744.
