Update: 9pm Pacific time: These American Airlines fares are available from all United Airlines hubs including San Francisco, Denver, Cleveland, Houston, Washington and Newark. American joins the Europe fare war launched early today by Delta and United at New York City JFK/EWR and Washington IAD. AA has not matched fares from Chicago to Europe. Low fares hit Star Alliance hubs with Zurich ZRH (Swiss), Frankfurt FRA and Munich MUC (Lufthansa), Vienna VIE (Austrian Airlines), Brussels BRU (Brussels Airlines).

Departure dates from September into January 2017.
