Marriott 1000 free nights

This is a good value sweepstakes chance for a Marriott Rewards eCert valid for a category 1-9 hotel. The sweepstakes pitch by Chase Bank is get a free night every year with their Marriott Rewards Visa card. Unfortunately, the credit card anniversary free night certificate is only good for category 1-5 hotels. That was a good value several years ago, but Marriott Rewards has shifted so many hotels up to higher categories that a category 5 hotel in 2016 was likely a category 2 or 3 hotel in 2011. I earned a Marriott free night ecert last week for a category 5 hotel. I was kind of shocked to see how few hotels in Europe remain in category 5 compared to a few years ago when it was easy for me to find a hotel offering good value from Marriott Category 1-5 free night certificates.

Anyway, take a couple minutes to enter the sweepstakes and then check your email around July 4 to see if you have a free night in your inbox.
