    I tried to find it on the aa.com site. I see on the lowest fare but there aren’t actually any flights that i can see there

    @Michael – easier to go through Google Flights. I went to AA.com and plugged in May 14-15 for round trip LAX-CLT and the flights returned on aa.com did not show the same low fare flights. I manually plugged in flights by time and got the $214 fare on aa.com.

    Google Flights will find the low fare flights and take you directly to aa.com site for booking.

    Pack a protest sign to wave around for 45 minutes in Charlotte Airport during the layover. And don’t spend any money there.

    Southwest has a few great (like < $50) fares to and from DAL today for travel some April and May dates. They don't show up if you ask fro travel from coast to coast, so ask for a flight to DAL and a second flight from DAL to your destination. You can do it on one record if you like by requesting an open jaw trip and meeting the minimum connecting time. I booked OAK to DAL to FLL for $89 all-in.
