This is admittedly a click-bait title for a real deal at a SPG category 7 hotel on this week’s SPG Hot Escapes list. The $310 per night rate is available in March when this hotel is in peak season and costs 35,000 points per reward night.
SPG Cash & Points is 15,000 points + $275 per night or the hotel is 35,000 points for a free night.
At those reward rates, paying $310 per night looks like a bargain for a stay at Starwood’s Hotel President Wilson, Luxury Collection Geneva, Switzerland.
This week’s SPG Hot Escapes is one of the weakest selections of hotels to post in a quite some time with only 43 hotels globally. Sometimes I feel SPG has simply given up trying to offer deals to members.
