United Airlines has an online campaign in support their application for commercial flight service between four U.S. airports and Havana, Cuba. The airports are Houston IAH, Chicago ORD, New Jersey/New York EWR and Washington Dulles IAD. The application states United would like to start Havana HAV Cuba service on August 15, 2016 or within 90 days of DOT final approval.

- Year-round Saturday-only round-trip service between each of Houston, Washington, D.C., and Chicago, and Havana, utilizing individually 0.1 daily frequencies and collectively 0.3 daily frequencies (or the equivalent of three weekly frequencies).
