Hotel Vintro South Beach joins Hilton Curio Collection

Hotel Vintro South Beach is the latest member of Hilton’s quasi-independent Curio Collection brand. The 50-room Art Deco hotel will open as Curio Collection in March 2016. TripAdvisor reviews rank Hotel Vintro #13 of 207 Miami Beach Hotels with 4.5/5 circles and a Certificate of Excellence.

Interesting comments in TripAdvisor reviews mention exterior and interior design as major features of this boutique hotel. Rooms have 48-inch TVs according to hotel website or 50-inch according to Hilton website with good AV connections according to TripAdvisor reviews. On the downside, apparently some rooms have no windows, shower design is open and exposed to room, a feature advertised on the hotel’s current website as a “voyeur shower’. There were thin wall noise level complaints and $20 resort fee.

Rooftop pool and Scorpion Bar are cited as great hotel features.

Vintro Kitchen is Mediterranean-style food.
