IHG Rewards Club list of 200 hotels down in points cost Feb 17, 2016

IHG Rewards Club 2016 hotel category changes affect 400 hotels out of 5,000 hotels globally. 200 hotels go up and 200 hotels go down in reward points cost for one free night on Feb 17, 2016.

The changes are not all bad, just mostly bad since the most desirable high end hotels around the globe are rising 20%. On the positive side, 200 hotels drop in cost, however, the majority of these hotels are currently 15,000 or 20,000 points and dropping to 10,000 and 15,000 points. Here are hotel lists by points category for IHG hotels decreasing category on February 17.

See my two previous posts for lists of the 200 hotels increasing in points cost for reward nights.
