Given the state of China’s economic slowdown, I thought hotel prices in Guangzhou would likely be in the $50 to $80 per night range for most chain brand hotels. Kind of shocking to see hotel rates at the chain brands in the $200s and $300s for Sheraton and Crowne Plaza in the city. Many luxury hotel brands are in the city with truly luxury market segment hotel rates comparable to the USA. For an airport hotel location, Holiday Inn Guangzhou Airport Zone is around $60 per night.
Holiday Inn Guangzhou Airport Zone is a 20,000 points per night hotel reward or $60 USD.
