During the month of January you can share a photo or video each day on Twitter or Instagram showing the weather you want to escape for a chance to win 500,000 Marriott Rewards points in the Escape to SoCal Sweepstakes.
You can enter once per day through January 31, 2016 by tweeting or posting a photo and the hashtags #EscapeToSoCalSweepstakes and #MRpoints. Each entry gives you another chance to win the 500,000-point prize.
Entries accepted through January 31, 2016 11:59pm ET.

3. How to Enter: There is NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to participate. A purchase does not increase your chances of winning.
There are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes, as follows:
(1) To enter via Twitter, you must tweet on Twitter a photo of the winter weather you want to escape and include #escapetoSoCalSweepstakes and #MRpoints (“Tweetâ€).
Once you have Tweeted, if you are already enrolled in #MRpoints Connect and Collect, you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes random drawing. If you are not enrolled in #MRpoints Connect and Collect, you will receive a reply tweet or comment directing you to enroll in #MRpoints Connect and Collect by visiting https://mrpoints.chirpify.com/mrpoints/EscapeToSoCalSweepstakes, where you must connect with Twitter, then complete all required fields of the onscreen registration form including your name, email address, and Marriott Rewards number to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes random drawing. The Tweet must include #SoCalGetaway, #MRpoints, and #Sweepstakes within the Tweet. You must have a public Twitter account. If you do not have a Twitter account, and you would like to create one for free, visit www.Twitter.com. Including #escapetoSoCalSweepstakes and #MRpoints in a Tweet during the Sweepstakes Period constitutes your agreement to these Official Rules.
(2) To enter via Instagram, you must upload a photo on Instagram of the winter weather you want to escape and include #escapetoSoCalSweepstakes and #MRpoints within the photo caption (“Postâ€). Once you have Posted, if you are already enrolled in #MRpoints Connect and Collect, you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes random drawing. If you are not enrolled in #MRpoints Connect and Collect, you will receive a reply comment directing you to enroll in #MRpoints Connect and Collect by visiting https://mrpoints.chirpify.com/mrpoints/EscapeToSoCalSweepstakes, where you must connect with Instagram, then complete all required fields of the onscreen registration form including your name, email address, and Marriott Rewards number to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes random drawing. You must have a public Instagram account. If you do not have an Instagram account, and you would like to create one for free, download the free Instagram app to your mobile device at the Apple® App Store, Windows Marketplace, or the Google® Play store. Including #escapetoSoCalSweepstakes and #MRpoints in an Instagram Post during the Sweepstakes Period constitutes your agreement to these Official Rules.
