Virgin America launched San Francisco to Honolulu route this week with advertised prices of $398 round trip. American, Delta, Hawaiian and United Airlines have low fares under $400 round trip for travel departures this week. SFO to Honolulu fares start at $338 round trip.
These same fares were offered a few weeks ago on October 14.
Virgin America will also launch service between SFO and Maui OGG on December 3. Low fares to Maui at $398 to $448 round trip are available across different airlines for winter travel.
