A preview of the new IHG Rewards Club PointBreaks hotels is out on IHG Blog for hotel stays October 26 to January 31, 2016 at 5,000 points per reward night. I racked up eight nights on PointBreaks with the previous set of hotels in Czech Republic and France. This list has me looking at Bratislava, Slovakia; Helsinki Airport Vaanta, Finland; and Crowne Plaza Oxford, UK.

Hotel reservations at PointBreaks rates will likely take effect sometime in the next 24 hours to 48 hours. Hotels on the list I checked are still not at 5,000 points at time of this post on morning of October 24.

    The two hotels in Oregon are Holiday Inn Resorts and nice hotels for a country getaway.

    I stayed at Running Y Ranch in July 2012 on PointBreaks. Convenient for day trip to Crater Lake National Park.

    Highly disappointing across the board I would say. Most of the destinations are either low season and not worth going to, or have cheap alternatives so 5k pts isn’t that much of a great deal…..or both.

    I don’t know for sure what Joe meant, but at first glance, seeing as how you have a city in Saudi Arabia listed as “South Africa” and you misspelled “Colombia” as “Columbia”, I’m guessing it’d be easy to notice if this list was just copied and pasted.

    The list is copied and pasted from IHG blog. I did not study the list for errors from IHG.

    We will all have the entire list through the IHG PointBreaks booking website on Monday.
