In a British Airways High Life magazine article last month focused on 24-hour living, Miami was the only city described as being truly a 24-hour active city in a group including New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Stockholm, London and Sydney.
So, I guess it doesn’t really matter what time your flight arrives or departs in Miami.
Probably the lowest fare I have seen for LAX-MIA route from legacy airlines
American Airlines has nonstop flights between Los Angeles and Miami for $93.10 each way, mostly Tuesday and Wednesday, during every month (but not every week) from October to February 2016. Some Saturday dates are also $93.10 in October and November. Even in March 2016, there are some dates with $118.10 one way fares and there are several days of the week in October and November with $118.10 one-way fares. This is probably the lowest fare I have posted for this route on a legacy airline.
Miami may seem like a sun-drenched haven from El Nino if the winter rains in California this season match the strength of the Pacific Ocean warmth.
