Starwood Preferred Guest has a brand-specific promotion for a $50 MasterCard gift card after three stays at Aloft, Element and Four Points between July 15 and November 30, 2015. Eligible stays are paid stays that earn Starpoints. Award stays and Cash & Points stays are not eligible.

Eligible stays are any stay of one night or more at any Aloft, Element or Four Points hotel worldwide. Each SPG member can earn only one $50 MasterCard gift card during the promotion.
Complete 3 stays at Aloft, Element and Four Points hotels between July 15 and November 30, 2015 and earn one $50 MasterCard gift card.
That is a decent rebate to stack on top of other SPG promotion bonuses and points earned for Starwood Hotel stays.
More like “3 stays at low-tier SPG properties” – not useful to those of us who stay at St. Regis and Westin, much less Sheraton.
I bet for most of us SPG members, the St. Regis promotions are useless.
