One of the best all-purpose hotel values in this year’s Daily Getaways is today’s Expedia $1,000 coupon for $650. This deal also provides elite Gold status in Expedia+ through February 2016, a loyalty program that provides free wi-fi and upgrades at Expedia VIP access hotels.

Here are benefits for Expedia+ members. Gold Status normally requires $10,000 in spend or 15 eligible nights.

The Expedia $1,000 coupon is good for payment with over 170,000 Expedia Rate hotels.

    My main problem with it wasn’t the limited availability, but that you have to use it all at once on a hotel. It’s good for those who stay for a while at one (or at a high priced hotel), but I never spend that much on one stay.
