Three days after announcing the changes eliminating the Club Carlson Visa free night benefit on award stays of 2 or more nights, a new Club Carlson Triple Points April 6 to June 28, 2015 promotion is announced.
Triple points is a great offer. Club Carlson members normally earn 20 points per dollar and triple points means 60 points per dollar. For Club Carlson Visa members, triple points is 77 points per dollar.
Plus an extra 1,000 points for Club Carlson mobile app booking.
Combined with other offers like 30,000 bonus points offer for Club Carlson Visa members who book a stay, 5,000 points for mobile booking from a previous offer and the availability of Radisson MegaPoints 10,000 bonus points rates for about $30 extra, means my next stay might pull in about 60,000 points for one night. Crazy lucrative value that I will take advantage of as I plan to burn 300,000 points or so before May 31 to take advantage of the Club Carlson Visa free night benefit before it ends June 1.

This 30,000 Points Bonus Offer for Club Carlson Visa members was announced hours after news broke Friday April 3, that free night on award stay benefit ending on June 1, 2015.
Terms and Conditions
You must be a Club Carlson member to participate in the “Triple Points Time” promotion (“Promotion”). Promotion is valid for Eligible Stays, as defined in the Club Carlson Terms and Conditions, between April 6, 2015 and June 28, 2015 (“Promotion Period”). To earn 40 bonus Gold Points per US. Dollar spent on Eligible Stays in addition to the 20 standard Gold Points per U.S. Dollar spent on Eligible Stays (“Triple Points”), you must register online for the Promotion at clubcarlson.com/triple and provide your Club Carlson member number at the time of reservation or at check-in. Once registered, you will earn Triple Points on Eligible Stays at Quorvus Collection, Radisson Blu®, Radisson®, Park Plaza®, Park Inn® by Radisson and Country Inns & Suites By CarlsonSM hotels worldwide during the Promotion Period. In addition to Triple Points, once you are registered you will earn 1,000 bonus points for Eligible Stays booked on the Club Carlson mobile app. Stays or nights paid for by redeeming points or by using Points + Cash are not eligible for this Promotion.
