Miami MIA and Ft. Lauderdale FLL surprised me in how few deals are offered to Europe compared to San Francisco SFO, Los Angeles LAX, Chicago, ORD and New York JFK/EWR. The common ground for these four airport regions is Norwegian Air.
Miami prices do not seem to be heavily impacted by Norwegian Air in a review of airfare today for travel departing April to June. The discount rates by major airline competitors do not seem to be in place against Norwegian flying out of Ft. Lauderdale FLL. Fares to Scandinavia. Norwegian Air flies to a few other places from Miami at $200 or more less than competitor airlines, but not too many real deals out of FLL Airport and Miami for Europe.
Condor Airlines is the exception with some very low roundtrip fares from $400 to $650 to places like MAN Manchester UK, ARN Stockholm Sweden, and CDG Paris, France.
