Want lower fares to London? Fly this weekend. Or by March 31.
London is typically an expensive flight from west coast USA, but there is a fare sale happening right now from Los Angeles LAX with the lowest priced fares available for flights this week and next as low as $776.
$800 might not seem like a low fare from LAX to many places, but it is a low fare to London LHR. Fares dropped to around $800 for departures through April 5 March 31 and then rise by $150 to $200 to around $950 to $1000.
Note: Lowest fare dates changed to March 31 as I wrote this post.
$776 is flying Delta in the USA to a Virgin Atlantic connecting flight in LAS or MCO.
$803 to $815 flying United nonstop and Swiss on nonstop transatlantic flight via Zurich.
$805 flying American and British Airways nonstop flights.
The unusual aspect about these low fares is no advance purchase requirement. You can fly to London tomorrow on these fares. American allows up to 30 days before return flight at this fare if you want an extended stay.
