United Mileage Plus 1500 miles per Wyndham Hotel stay Oct 15 to Jan 16, 2015

United Mileage Plus 1,500 miles per Wyndham Hotel stay Oct 15 to Jan 16, 2015 is triple miles. Bonus miles are earned beginning on your second stay. 1,500 miles per stay is limited to 2nd, 3rd and 4th stays.

Register for this offer here at Wyndham.

This offer is limited to Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Grand and Wyndham Garden hotel brands. You max out this promotion with 5,000 miles after four stays at these three types of Wyndham Hotels.

I think this is a good value offer if Wyndham Hotels can fill in some travel nights you need and earn miles.

Wyndham 3x United miles

I really dislike promotions that withhold the bonus offer until the second stay. These kinds of promotions are common to Wyndham Rewards.

Wyndham Hotels United Triple Miles Promotion Analysis

Wyndham Atlanta area

Eligible 3x Mileage Plus Wyndham Hotels Atlanta, Georgia area for Friday, December 5, 2014.

  • Wyndham Atlanta Galleria $98.10 or 14,000 points
  • Wyndham Garden Duluth $84.15 or 10,000 points

Since 1,500 miles are per Wyndham stay, regardless of what you spend for the hotel stay, you need to choose the better value.

  • 2,000 United Mileage Plus miles after two Wyndham stays.
  • 10 points/$1 earning Wyndham Rewards points. This might be fewer than 2,000 points if you stayed two times on rates offered at Atlanta area eligible hotels.

You need to spend about $1,400 to $2,000 to earn 14,000 to 20,000 Wyndham Rewards points for a free reward night at most hotels if you want to stay at a higher quality Wyndham brand hotel. A free night at some Wyndham brand economy segment hotels like Super 8, Days Inn and Howard Johnson might be 10,000 points or less per night. Top level properties are 30,000 points.

2,000 to 5,000 miles are a good rebate value if Wyndham Hotels are in the area you need to stay over the next couple of months. I view the United miles as worth about $15 per 1,000 miles.

  1. I received a special email offer this morning from Parc 55 Wyndham San Francisco for free breakfast and internet on a reward stay Dec 19 to Jan 11 for 30,000 points per night.

When I clicked on the link the page showed every room category as 30,000 points. Even the Presidential Suite was listed.

When I tried to book the Presidential Suite, the actual reward rooms offered were Standard low floor Queen and King and ADA rooms. No Presidential Suite after trying a dozen different dates.
