Choose carefully between two Best Western AAdvantage miles promotions

Choose carefully between two Best Western AAdvantage miles promotions is my response to an offer published on Loyalty Lobby and Magic of Miles for 1,750 AAdvantage miles after your first Best Western stay before December 31, 2014.

For some reason, Best Western has two different overlapping offers for American Airlines AAdvantage miles.

AAPROMO1: September 15 – November 30, 2014. Earn 1,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles per stay. 250 miles per stay + 750 bonus miles per stay. There is no limit to the number of miles you can earn.

AAPROMO2: October 1 – December 31, 2014. Earn 1,750 American Airlines AAdvantage miles on your first stay. 250 miles per stay + 1,500 bonus miles. This bonus can only be earned one time per member.

Best Western Rewards will not allow members to register for both promotions. The best offer depends on whether you will have more than one stay at a Best Western during the promotion period.

I tried to register for the AAPROMO2 and my registration was rejected due to already being registered for AAPROMO1.

Best Western AA promo rejection

We’re sorry, but we are unable to register you for this Best Western promotion for the following reason(s):

  • Member cannot register for multiple promos from same category.”

Now I am wondering if I can register for AAPROMO2 in December after the promotion period for AAPROMO1 ends?

AAPROMO2 is a great bonus rebate in American Airlines AAdvantage miles for one stay at a Best Western hotel by December 31, 2014.

AAPROMO1 is the better deal if you plan on more than two stays at Best Western in October and November 2014.
