SPG Hot Escapes cheap Thailand and affordable San Francisco

SPG Hot Escapes this week has 34 hotels in Europe and 37 in the USA. There are 56 hotels in Asia Pacific with 11 Thailand properties, mostly under $100 per night. San Francisco has a couple of hotels with W San Francisco and The Palace at affordable prices for the last weekend of August.

Le Meridien Khao Lak Beach & Spa Resort at $71 per night for the next six weeks is quite the bargain for a beach vacation.

Sheraton Krabi Beach Resort is $94 for the last two weeks of August and beginning of September.

Aloft London Excel has a rate of $97 for one day only on Sunday, September 7. $109 rates are available for three consecutive weekdays August 25-27.

The Palace San Francisco, Luxury Collection at $136 for Sunday and Monday August 31-September 1 is about $200 off the typical rate for this hotel in peak tourist season.

W San Francisco at $151 for that same weekend is a good rate for that hotel and an even better choice than the Palace, unless old-style historic hotels are more your taste than night club lobby environments. It is actually a good opportunity to experience both hotels at lower than average rates. The W and the Palace are five minutes walk from each other in San Francisco.

SPG Hot Escapes rates are available for booking through Saturday, August 2 for stays through September 10, 2014. These are prepaid and nonrefundable rates. Only certain dates are available at the lowest advertised rate.
