Kimpton Hotels changed its loyalty program name from InTouch to Kimpton Karma Rewards this month. Loyalty members can get instant Karma double elite credit on hotel stays booked by August 4 using the Kimpton 2014 Summer Fling rate. The special Summer Fling rate is also an up to 20% discount rate.
The new Kimpton Karma Rewards hotel loyalty program has four membership levels.
Tier 1 = new members and members with fewer than 3 stays or 10 nights in a calendar year. Free WiFi, $10 Raid the Bar credit ($15 in New York City), custom stay preferences, free night rewards, member-only offers and dining exclusives.
Tier 2 = 3 stays or 10 nights. Benefits include everything you get with Tier 1 plus $30 in-room spa credit and a one-time free room upgrade (when available at check-in).
Tier 3 = 7 stays or 20 nights. Benefits include everything you get with Tier 2 plus a complimentary chef’s taste in the restaurant and a one-time welcome amenity. You also get one more free room upgrade and late check-out priority (both based on availability).
Inner Circle membership requires 14 hotel stays or 40 hotel nights in a calendar year. Benefits include everything you get with Tier 3 plus a custom welcome amenity at every eligible visit, greater reward availability, newspaper delivered to your door, complimentary nights at new hotels and a $50 dining credit during that new hotel visit, a dedicated reservation line, exclusive direct access to our CEO, and VIP reservations at Kimpton restaurants.
What is the Kimpton Journey?
It’s just another way to earn free nights with us. Stay at 10 different Kimpton hotels during the calendar year (January 1 – December 31) and you’ll receive two complimentary nights. Once you stay at 15 different hotels you’ll get another free night and when you reach 20 boom! There’s another. Oh, and just so you know, the annual stay count is based on check-out date. Kimpton Karma Double Elite Credit Promotion
This is a good time to fast-track to elite status with Kimpton by completing 2, 4 or 7 stays booked by August 4 and completed by September 30, 2014 to reach a new elite level.
Seven stays at Kimpton Hotels to reach Inner Circle status comes with the benefit of one free night at new Kimpton Hotels. Kimpton is a steadily growing hotel chain across the USA.
Seven stays earns one free night at any Kimpton Hotel. Seven stays during the double elite credit promotion can also put you within close range of earning two free nights with your Kimpton Journey credits if you stay in 10 different Kimpton Hotels before the end of 2014.
The challenge for me was finding hotels with affordable rates. It was a challenge to find hotels at under $150 per night during the Summer Fling promotion. Cypress Hotel in Cupertino, California is one of the lowest priced hotels in the Kimpton chain for weekend nights. Many Kimpton Hotels have rates regularly over $300 per night.
Kimpton Karma Double Elite Credit is a high value promotion if your travel can handle seven stays at Kimpton Hotels over the next two months.
