Club Carlson is running their third flash sale of the past week today until 5:29pm Eastern Friday, June 27. Members can buy up to 70,000 points at the rate of $4 per 1,000 points. The link goes to the Club Carlson member sign-in page for points purchase.
The normal points purchase rate is $7 per 1,000 points and there is a purchase limit of 40,000 points per calendar year. The flash sale offers 75% bonus points.
You will not be able to buy points if you already maxed out your 40,000 points limit for 2014. 75% bonus points means a member can go over the 40,000 points limit with this purchase opportunity and buy 70,000 points for $280 with this sale if you are buying Club Carlson points through Points.com for the first time in 2014.
This is a good deal if you are into Club Carlson hotels. Since I am not trying to sell you a Club Carlson Visa card enrollment to earn an affiliate commission, I’ll leave it at that.
