Club Carlson overlaps their promotion from last spring ending June 29 for 20,000 bonus points for a two-night weekend stay at participating hotels in Europe, Middle East and Africa to run this same offer a second time through the summer months. Complete a two-night weekend stay from Thursday to Sunday between June 3 – September 15, 2014 at a participating Radisson Blu or Park Inn hotel and receive 20,000 bonus points. You may only earn the bonus offer one time.
Club Carlson members must register for this 20,000 bonus points offer by August 31, 2014.
There are hotels where this deal can be done for under $200 USD while getting two hotel nights.
What is strange about this offer is Club Carlson ran the same offer two months ago with a registration deadline for May 31 and 20,000 bonus points for stays from April 3 to June 29. Loyalty Traveler: Club Carlson 20,000 bonus points April 3-June 29 EMEA 2-night weekend special (April 20).
The previous offer required registration by May 31 and members were limited to one bonus for the promotion period. As soon as the registration period ended for the first EMEA 20K weekend bonus, this same offer came along again a few days later. I assume members can get this second bonus of 20,000 points for another weekend summer stay since the summer 20K promotion requires a new registration.

Park Inn by Radisson Budapest has a two-night rate of 71.20 EUR ($96.72) per night. For under $200 paid for a weekend stay earns 20,000 bonus points. USA Club Carlson Visa card members may argue that this hotel is not a deal as a category 1 award for 9,000 points. Club Carlson members can buy 9,000 points for $63. This is just an example of how low the rate can be to stay two nights and earn 20,000 bonus points.
There are other hotels with similarly low rates with higher Club Carlson hotel category award rates.

This Offer is valid for a single new booking made between 3 June 2014 and 31 August 2014 for a minimum two-night stay at a rate eligible to earn Gold Points completed on or before 15 September 2014 with an arrival on a Thursday through Sunday (an “Eligible Stay”). Booking has to be made by clicking on the “Book Now” button in the Offer e-mail or online via clubcarlson.com or the brand websites.
To be eligible to earn 20,000 bonus Gold Points for this Offer (“Bonus Points”), you must register online by 31 August 2014 at clubcarlson.com/weekendspecial. Members only need to register once, but registration must be received before checkout of the Eligible Stay to qualify. You must provide your Club Carlson member number at the time of booking or at check-in for the Eligible Stay to earn the Bonus Points. You will receive your Bonus Points after the completion of the Eligible Stay. Bonus Points are in addition to the standard Gold Points awarded for the Eligible Stay.

Only one Club Carlson account per booking will be credited with the Bonus Points. Maximum of one Bonus Points award will be credited to a member with an Eligible Stay under the Offer regardless of the number of Eligible Stays completed by the member during the promotion period. Bonus Points are automatically credited onto your account after your Eligible Stay. Allow 6-8 weeks for the Bonus Points to appear on your account.
