This post shows an updated table of Hilton HHonors airline and travel partners for earning miles as an HHonors Points & Miles earner. The table shows each airline’s rate of earning for hotel stays.
HHonors has a choice of 62 airline and travel points partners for Pointss & Miles earners. This is more airline partners than any other hotel loyalty program. Even better, Hilton HHonors is the only hotel program for earning both points and miles on each hotel stay with their Points & Miles earning option. Most other hotel programs give members the option of earning miles instead of points for stays.
Hilton HHonors ended Fixed Miles earning in January 2014. Loyalty Traveler Hilton HHonors dropping Points & Fixed Miles earning option Jan 6, 2014.
The poor exchange rate of HHonors points to airline miles at 10,000 points = 1,000 miles for most frequent flyer programs makes choosing Points & Miles earning a better way to accrue miles with Hilton brand hotel stays.
Hilton HHonors Airline Partners for Points & Miles Earning
The airlines listed in this table who are not partners with Hilton HHonors are airline partners of at least one other major hotel loyalty program.
Main points to know about HHonors and airline miles.
Home2 Suites stays are capped at $100 spend miles equivalent per stay regardless of total spend.
Hampton Inn, Home2 Suites and Homewood Suites stays are not eligible for miles with the following airlines:
- Air New Zealand
- El Al (only Home2 Suites excluded from earning miles)
- Gulf Air
- China Eastern
- Japan Airlines
- Thai Airways
There is a miles earning limit for Hampton Inn, Home2 Suites and Homewood Suites with these airlines:
- Air China (up to 160 miles)
- ANA (up to 100 miles)
- Korean Air (up to 100 miles)
- OK Cashbag (up to 1,000 points per stay)
- Sri Lankan (up to 100 miles)
- Vietnam Airlines (up to 100 miles)
- El Al (Home2 Suites excluded)
The vast number of airlines partnering with Hilton HHonors gives this program a competitive edge over many other hotel loyalty programs for frequent guests desiring miles to supplement earning points with Hilton brand hotel stays.
I will follow up this post with other airline tables this coming week and publish a comprehensive table of hotel programs side-by-side.
