Daily Getaways is in its third of five weeks with travel discounts primarily involving hotels. Hyatt Gold Passport points are probably the best value deal there is for the five weeks. These points are also one of the most difficult to buy due to the limited sets available in the four offers.
This sale starts at 1:00pm New York time and 10:00am California time. Be ready at 959 after the hour and start refreshing the buy page until it loads on the hour with an offer to buy points or a message that all points are gone. These points are generally snapped up in the first seconds within the beginning of the sale.

Analysis
Buying Hyatt Gold passport points at less than $10 per 1,000 points is about half the cost that points can be purchased during Hyatt 25% discounts for buying points. This is a great deal. Hotel award nights range from 5,000 to 30,000 points. At this rate there are plenty of good values to find using points. My advice is buy as many points as you can afford and will use since it is hard not to save money on Hyatt brand hotels using points purchased at this low rate.
I missed out on Choice Privileges points due to being in the Sierra Nevada foothills with no internet connection and I will be in the Santa Cruz Mountains checking out redwood trees with first graders during this sale. 2014 is not my year for Daily Getaways bargains.
Good luck on your quest to be one of the few to land a Hyatt Gold Passport points bargain in this Daily Getaways.
