Omni Hotels free night certificates go on sale at 1:00pm Eastern or 10am Pacific time today, Monday, June 2, 2014. In years past, the two items in U.S. Travel Association’s Daily Getaways sales this week, with Omni Hotel free night certificates Monday, June 2 and Loews Hotels on Tuesday, June 3 would seem not to have much value. These offers have not sold out on their sale days in the past. Stephen Colbert would say, “The market has spoken.”
Yet, every year I am around some Omni or Loews Hotels checking out the property and checking out the rates and thinking to myself, that Daily Getaways package would have been a good deal for this hotel.
Bottom line is there are some good values in today’s Omni Hotels packages if one of the cities where there is an Omni Hotel is on your travel itinerary. The Omni offers are unlike the points offers of the major loyalty programs where a hotel brand is advertised, but you are actually buying points to use however you choose. These Omni Hotels free night certificate offers are restricted to a specific set of hotels for each type of certificate.
Here are the four offers, price for free night certificates and hotel set available with each certificate type for sale.
Omni Package 1 = 2 weekend nights certificate for $180 ($162 with American Express payment).
- Must be 2 consecutive nights stay.
- Friday or Saturday night check-in.
- Certificate valid through December 30, 2014.
- 36 available
- Maximum purchase is one certificate.
– The Omni Austin Hotel at Southpark
– The Omni Charlottesville Hotel
– The Omni Houston Hotel at Westside
– The Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale
– The Omni Dallas Hotel at Park West
– The Omni Corpus Christi Hotel
– The Omni San Antonio Hotel at the Colonnade
Bottom line: Two nights at an Omni for $81 per night all-in is a hard to beat deal.
Omni Offer #2 Two weekend nights certificate for $270 ($243 with American Express payment).
- Must be 2 consecutive nights stay.
- Friday or Saturday night check-in.
- Certificate valid through December 30, 2014.
- 49 available
- Maximum purchase is one certificate.
– The Omni Royal Crescent Hotel
– The Omni Hotel at CNN Center
– The Omni Mandalay Hotel at Las Colinas
– The Omni Austin Hotel Downtown
Bottom line: $121.50 all-in per night is like getting a $105 room rate for many of these hotels. This can be a great deal for being city center at a bargain rate. Some of these hotels like Omni Interlocken between Boulder and Denver is a hotel with generally higher weekend rates.
Omni Hotels Offer #3 = Two weekend nights certificate at Premier Omni Hotels for $375 ($337.50 with American Express payment).
- Must be 2 consecutive nights stay.
- Friday or Saturday night check-in.
- Certificate valid through December 30, 2014.
- 33 available
- Maximum purchase is one certificate.
– The Omni San Francisco Hotel
– The Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza
– The Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate
– The Omni Mount Washington Resort
– The Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort
Bottom Line: $169 all-in per night will be a savings at many of these hotels, however, the room rate is now getting into the range where there are many other alternatives. A hotel like Omni San Francisco will have rates over $300 per night on many weekend dates.
Omni Hotels Offer #4 = One weekend night certificate at Exclusive Omni Hotels for $265 ($238.50 with American Express payment).
- Certificate valid for either a Friday or Saturday one night stay.
- Friday or Saturday night check-in.
- Certificate valid through December 30, 2014.
- 10 available
- Maximum purchase is one certificate.
- Omni Berkshire Place, New York, NY
- Omni Nashville Hotel
- Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort, Amelia Island, FL
- Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, Austin, TX
- Omni Bedford Springs Resort, Bedford, PA
- The Omni Grove Park Inn, Asheville, NC
- The Omni Homestead Resort, Hot Springs, VA
- Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, San Diego/North County, CA
- Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa, Palm Springs/Rancho Mirage, CA
- Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia
- Omni Tucson National Resort
Bottom line: $238 is a high priced hotel room. The certificate will be a savings at many of these hotels, if one of these places is where you want a hotel night.
Personally, I am sitting this sale out since the lower priced weekend certificate deals I think are the best bargains do not offer any California hotels. I do not know if I will be in any of those states before the end of 2014. And the certificates good for California hotels are priced higher than I normally pay for hotel rooms.
