Club Carlson has a promotion for 20,000 bonus points with a 2-night or more weekend stay Thursday through Sunday at a participating Radisson Blu or Park Inn hotel in Europe. Middle East or Africa between April 3 and June 29, 2014. 20,000 bonus points may only be earned one time per member during promotion.

Register for this ‘weekend special’ offer by May 31, 2014.

Terms & Conditions state this offer is only valid on new reservations made from April 3, 2014. In past meetings with Club Carlson loyalty program managers, the issue of existing reservations applying to promotions has been discussed and the sentiment expressed is the purpose of loyalty promotions are to drive new bookings. I would not count on existing bookings counting for the bonus points.

20,000 bonus points cost $140 to buy from Club Carlson. I’d consider the bonus to be at least a $100 value as a consideration when comparing hotel rates in the cities where this deal is offered.
