Le Club Accorhotels dropping USD$60 vouchers after March 25, 2014

News from Accor Hotels is the issuance of $60 USD vouchers for 2,000 points will end after March 25, 2014. Vouchers will be issued only in Euros.

2,000 points = €40.

The main issue here is the currency exchange rate favors $60 over €40. This is a points devaluation of about 10%, if you normally redeem points in US Dollars.

Le Club Accorhotels will process points into $60 USD vouchers until March 25, 2014. Vouchers in USD for Le Club Accorhotels will remain valid for six months until September 2014.

Vouchers in USD for Le Club Accorhotels partners will remain valid for one year to March 25, 2015.

Le Club Accorhotels vouchers issued in Euros are valid worldwide.
