Passports with Purpose raises $80,500 for education projects in Mali

The two week Passports with Purpose fundraiser raised more than $80,000 for two schools and literacy programs to be provided by for communities in Mali, West Africa. This is 70% of the $115,000 goal to raise construction and instructional funds for three schools in the Sikasso region of Mali.

Thank you to all the donors who contributed $10 or more to the effort. Your donation will result in student education and adult literacy in communities where these resources are needed.

Even though the raflle prize portion of this year’s fundraiser has ended, donations can still be made to in support of the Mali educational funding effort.

The winner of the Hyatt Gold Passport prize of 110,000 points will be selected by the Passports with Purpose team and announced next week. I will contact Hyatt Gold Passport with the winner’s information for delivery of the points prize.
