Best Western Rewards 1,000 or 1,500 points per booking Sep 16-Nov 24, 2013

Best Western Rewards Fall 2013 promotion offers 1,000 bonus points per booking and an additional 500 bonus points for BWR elite members for 1,500 points per booking via online or mobile app for stays from September 16 to November 24, 2013.

Best Western Rewards Promotion registration is required for booking bonus points.

In addition to bonus points for any booking through Best Western online channels is the tie-in of the bonus points offer to saving up to 20% with internet only rates. The Best Western booking bonus points is the main offer with this Best Western Rewards promotion.

Note: Members do not have to book the Internet Only rate to earn the booking bonus points. Booking bonus is earned on any qualified rate including AAA and senior rates.

Best Western Fall 2013 promo

Analysis of the Internet Only rates revealed to me in five hotel searches that the AAA rate was lower in 4 of 5 searches and the Internet Only rate at one hotel was the same rate as the AAA rate. The Oregon beach town Best Western with similar rates had an Internet Only rate cancellation policy 7 days before arrival compared to day of arrival booking AAA rate.

Compare the Internet Only rate carefully to other rates and the cancellation policy for different rates prior to booking to find the best deal.

The 1,000 or 1,500 (elite members) bonus points for booking hotel stays is earned on any qualified rate.

Q. Do Best Western Rewards members need to be REGISTERED for the Fall Online Promotion to be eligible to earn the 1,000 (or 1,500 for Elite members) Best Western Rewards bonus points per stay?

A. Yes. Best Western Rewards members must REGISTER for the promotion prior to their qualifying stay to earn the 1,000 (or 1,500 for Elite members) bonus points. Best Western Rewards members can register for the promotion by visiting or by logging into their Best Western Rewards account and registering through their profile. Stays made prior to registration will not count towards the bonus points.

Q. Do Best Western Rewards members need to book the INTERNET ONLY RATE to receive the online booking bonus points?

A. No. A BWR member can book a reservation on any Best Western online booking channel (, the Best Western To Go mobile app, or via Best Western’s mobile website) to receive bonus points. However, they will not eligible for the discount of up to 20% if they do not book the INTERNET ONLY RATE rate plan.

  1. Thanks Rick. Again timely. I am going to try my new Diamond status at a BW tomorrow. Earlier, I had booked a night for the 18th and just registered for the promotion today. According to the terms, it would appear that I’ll get the bonus points, right?
