Play the Digital Detective Scavenger Hunt. ‘Like’ each of the nine InterContinental Hotels and answer a question with four multiple choice answers. There is a clue on most pages telling where to find the answer on the Facebook timeline. Some of the clues show wrong dates and the answer to the InterContinental Cleveland question was peregrine falcon which I did not find on their Facebook page, but rather by doing a Google search for the hotel and falcons.
InterContinental Chicago hint is July 8, but Facebook photo about kayaks was posted August 25.
The game will prompt you with ‘Like’ links and confirmation pages, except IC Miami did not load correctly on my computer and I had to go directly to the IC Miami page to hit the ‘Like’ in order to continue the game midway through on the fifth of nine questions.
No Like button appeared and I could not expand the window for IC Miami.
I answered all nine questions and actually learned there is some usefulness to a Facebook timeline.
I solved the Digital Detective Scavenger Hunt.
You can too for a chance to win a trip to London or Washington, D.C.
