Hyatt Century Plaza Los Angeles photos

Late April 2012 the streets were wet with puddles of rain as I drove from downtown Los Angeles to Hyatt Regency Century Plaza near Beverly Hills. A spring rain storm dropped about an inch of water. The rain had ended only a few hours earlier at daybreak.

This hotel is located on the Avenue of the Stars in Los Angeles, on the border of Beverly Hills. The hotel neighborhood is filled with entertainment industry businesses and studios. The corporate office building lined drive along this stretch of road also has the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City hotel.

The room view over Avenue of the Stars looks out to film and entertainment industry modern office buildings. Real life Entourage-like deals happen in this neighborhood.

Shopping Los Angeles mall style outside the door of Hyatt Century Plaza. And yeah, that is a real balcony with a sliding glass door. This is Los Angeles. Ten miles west to reach the beach. That can be 30 to 45 minutes driving time on surface roads. Fifteen minutes if you are lucky on the I-10 to the beach in Santa Monica.

Equinox spa and fitness center are located in the back side pool area of the hotel in a separate building.

Equinox spa and fitness center also serves a community membership. These Hollywood executives and actors can work off stress outside their office and then get back to the office.

The website states the Hyatt Century Plaza hotel has the largest ballroom on the west side of Los Angeles. I did not see it myself, but there were hundreds of people heading through the lobby to the ballroom area one time when I was passing through the place. You might find yourself at the Century Plaza hotel even if you are not staying the night.
