  1. Thanks for the info. Just booked 1 week rental with Avis for December. I could not find a column to enter my Club Carlson account # during Avis booking, but will provide the # during rental pick up.

  2. @ML – The account # is entered on the last page of booking. It has a box for entering the program – Club Carlson Goldpoints(it will help you after you enter the first few letters) and then you enter the # in the next box.

Also note that, at least for the recently ended 9000 point promotion recently ended, Flyertalk members have reported not receiving the bonus points if they use a different AWD, even though the terms say nothing about this.

  3. @Charles – I appreciate your response. I did not find any column or box to enter the Club Carlson #. I even made a fresh start and could not locate the place to enter. There are people like me who could not find it and it is reported in FT thread. I am planning to call the customer service and provide the Club Carlson # corresponding to reservation.

  4. @ML – Strange. I see the AWD entry on step 1 and the frequent flyer program on step 4 of making the reservation on the Avis site. This is after entering from the Capital One earn miles site.
