Candlewood Suites or Staybridge Suites Priority Club 5,000 Bonus Points Promotion September 12-December 30, 2012
Promotion Analysis:
Candlewood Suites tend to be the lower priced hotel brand of these two extended stay InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) brand choices. Extended-stay hotels mean these rooms are generally apartment style with a small kitchen to cook, larger refrigerator and a door between sitting room space and bedroom.

This is a long promotion period combined with the opportunity to likely earn at least another 5,000 bonus points through other offers if you are an infrequent guest at IHG Priority Club hotel brands like Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Crowne Plaza, InterContinental and Hotel Indigo. The FlyerTalk thread shows several other Priority Club offers.
Check out this FlyerTalk thread for other promotion offers that may earn even more points in combination with this two-night stay offer for 5,000 bonus points. Many members will likely be able to earn 10,000 points with a single two night stay,
I like this promotion for the leisure traveler. One 2-night hotel stay earns enough for a PointBreaks reward night offer at 5,000 points per night. The next set of Pointbreaks hotels will be posted near the end of October. There are currently only two hotels left on the PointBreaks list of USA hotels. These offers for hotels at 5,000 points per night sell out rather quickly now.
Priority Club Last Minute Reward Nights will also be posted in the next 36 hours for points stays next weekend at about 80 IHG hotels worldwide. Reward nights are 50% discount on points needed for a Priority Club stay on the three nights of Friday-October 5, Saturday-October 6 and Sunday-October 7.

This Priority Club promotion looks like a good opportunity to earn a 5,000 points bonus on a two night stay in an apartment type room. Priority Club offers around 100 hotels around the world every couple of months for booking using 5,000 points for a free PointBreaks reward night.
This Priority Club offer at Candlewood Suites or Staybridge Suites looks like a good deal.
