Hyatt Gold Passport Possibilities Sep 1 – Nov 30, 2012

Here is my Loyalty Traveler August 3 assessment of this offer, a promotion I think is a decent rebate for Hyatt Gold Passport loyalists. The 5-night threshold makes this a good offer for someone who can reach 10 nights during the three month promotion period.

There are likely better promotions for casual travelers looking for a bonus on one night stays. Marriott Rewards free nightafter two stays Sep 15-Jan 15, 2013 is another good choice.

As someone with no wiggle room with their credit cards, I hope the additional Chase Hyatt Visa bonus doesn’t become a quarterly promotion trend with other chains like Hilton. I think we will eventually see it adopted by others, though. Marriott is probably the next to fall, another Chase partner.

I just hate to leave points like that on the table when staying with Hyatt….
