Priority Club Points sale Monday, April 9 at 1:00ET

Daily Getaways starts today and the first day is Priority Club points. The price is good, but not extraordinary. Purchased points count for elite status. It is possible to buy 10,000 to 200,000 points in a single purchase.

Price shown is 10% less when payment made with American Express card.

Update Monday March 9, 12:05pm ET: I checked the presale offer. There was a code on the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts Facebook page showing the early access code:

The 75 sets of 40,000 points offered for this pre-sale were booked out within a couple of minutes.

This FlyerTalk thread indicates the points may have all been reserved for purchase in the first 30 seconds. Needless to say that if you want to get points at the 1pm sale, start clicking at 12:59 to get a chance to buy.

Says there are 75 pre-sale available (was 130), but won’t let me buy them. Says the items I want are in somebody elses cart and to try again.

The pre-sale (130) sold out in less than 1 min. Will try again in 30 mins.

I didn’t have luck during the pre-sale, but found it trivial to buy exactly 60k points (2x 25k points + 10k points) shortly after 1PM. Looking forward to Platinum status through the end of 2013!

I was able to get 2 sets of 10K + 1 set of 40k while keep retry clicking the “buy”. I did get some of the “somebody else’s cart” message but eventually, it did allow me to purchase.
