Gaylord Hotels offers couples the 2nd night free on a two-night weekend stay during the month of your anniversary for stays through May 31. The offer changes for those with anniversary dates June through December to a $100 resort credit for two paid nights.
The catch is you must have proof (i.e. copy of marriage certificate) of your anniversary date in the month of your stay. My wife and I had our anniversary in January so this offer has passed us by for 2012.

Gaylord Hotels are actually unique convention resort hotels with a couple thousand rooms. The defining feature of these hotels is the cavernous interior atrium filled with water features, trees, restaurants, and bars.
This is a good deal for a hotel property you likely wouldn’t think of staying when not attending a conference. The past two years I stayed in Gaylord Palms, at Orlando, Florida near Walt Disney World and Gaylord National about ten miles outside of Washington D.C. in National Harbor, Maryland while attending the Carlson Hotels annual global conference.

The Gaylord Resorts have several restaurants and entertainment facilities in addition to pools and large workout facilities. These are truly stand-alone properties where you can find plenty of entertainment without leaving the hotel. Gaylord Palms offers complimentary shuttle to Walt Disney World.
