Jan 31 booking deadline for Hilton Resort Escapes Free Night Promo

Hilton HHonors Resort Escapes promotion offers a free night certificate after five consecutive nights at a participating Hilton resort from December 1, 2011 through April 30, 2012. This is one of the best hotel loyalty program offers of the past year.

Hilton resort bookings must be made by January 31 for this promotion. Two free nights may be earned during the promotion period.

Promotion registration is required by Jan 31.

  • Booking Period: by January 31, 2012
  • Hotel Stay Period: December 1, 2011 – April 30, 2012
  • HHonors members must complete a minimum stay of five (5) consecutive nights at participating hotel(s) to receive one (1) free night certificate.
  • Limit two (2) free night certificates per HHonors member.
  • Certificates may be earned by completing two (2) separate minimum five (5) night stays or one (1) minimum ten (10) night stay.
  • Free night certificate will be delivered within 6 weeks of completion of stay.
  • Free night certificate is valid at participating hotels in the Hilton Worldwide portfolio for six (6) months after the date of issuance, as noted on the certificate.

Loyalty Traveler analysis

Five consecutive nights at a participating resort can be an expensive stay.. or not so expensive when the value of a future free Hilton Hotel night is calculated into the resort stay cost.

This is a good value opportunity that bears keeping Hilton in mind when you are planning a vacation getaway to one of the locations where about 100 Hilton properties worldwide participate for this Resort Escapes offer.

My original post in December on this Hilton promotion showed how the DoubleTree Napa Valley-American Canyon could be booked for 5 nights for under $400 all-in during Hilton’s December sale.

This is still one of the best loyalty promotions of the year in my opinion. Book a five night stay and have a free resort night for this summer in a place like London’s Syon Park Waldorf Astoria, Rome Cavalieri or Trianon Palace Versailles.

    Any idea if a 5-night award stay would be eligible for this promotion?

    I only ask because I have one already booked that otherwise seems to meet the criteria for this promotion…

    IfI thought it was confirmed by a hilton rep that the december 1st booking start was not true, just must be booked by jan31? If you read it carefully, there is no mention of book starting dec 1st, just register for promo and stay starting dec 1st. Hence, book in November, stay and register in december, is valid.

    @Marc – You are correct. The registration period for this offer is Dec 1-Jan 31. The booking period ends January 31, but did not have to be made in Dec-Jan.
