  Just booked 3 nights at Vienna South for early Sept with PointsBreak. Glad I didn’t book earlier today with $60+5K pts/night. I dislike having to pay for auto parking (20 Euro) but saving $60/night is sweet!

  I’ve never done this, but I’ve always wondered:

  What happens if one needs to cancel a Priority Club award booking? Is it easy and painless, with the points redeposited in your account upon clicking on the “cancel reservation” button associated with the reservation?

  I’ve never canceled a PointBreaks night. For other reward bookings I needed to cancel the points were quickly returned to my account.

  I did cancel a PointBreaks night and was told that the points were non-refundable. I managed to talk the customer service agent into giving me back the 5,000 points, but they did have to authorize it through a manager.

  I accidently double booked (2 reservations–same night)one of the PointBreaks hotels (for early Sept) but caught the error right away and canceled one of the two reservations. I got the 5K pts back within a day.

  It could be because I cancelled right away (within minutes) and they saw it was 2 bookings for the same night.
