Like Wyndham Worldwide Facebook for Charity and 25,000 points

Wyndham Worldwide started a Facebook page promotion Sep 29. Wyndham will donate $1, up to $60,000, to its corporate charity program “Wishes by Wyndham”  for every new person who “Likes” the page.

Each time the Wyndham Worldwide Facebook page gets 500 new fans, a drawing for 25,000 points will be held among all the entrants. There will up to 12 drawings for 25,000 points.

You may only enter once during the promotion period, but once you have entered you are eligible for all the subsequent prize drawings. So get in early for better odds of winning 25,000 points.

Promotion is open only to legal residents of 50 U.S. states/D.C. and Canada, excluding Quebec. Promotion ends when 6,000 new fans are reached or December 31, 2010, whichever comes first. (Currently there are 3,834 fans, but I do not know how many of these are “new” fans in the past two days since the promotion started.)

  1. From the Wyndham FB page: “When we reach 4,158 fans, we will select the first winner!”

    Implied from that is that the promotion started with 3,658 existing fans. Currently at 4,074.

  2. Thanks for the information. I had not seen that number on the Facebook page.

    They are not exactly generating a huge respose with their Facebook page. And I guess our odds are about 1 in 500 for winning the first prize of 25,000 points.
