Just completed one of these 4 night stays at the Sheraton Carlsbad. Low rate ($150/nt), lounge access with Plat status, and a bunch of points for this promo. They also offer the green choice option, which I did for all 3 nights. This property qualifies for the triple points promo, so this stay netted me about 16.6K points. (500 plat amenity, 1500 green choice, 1326 base, 663 elite, 2652 triple, 10000 resort promo)
To top it all off, the points all posted the day after checkout.
WOW. All those points are about equivalent to the pay 4 and get two free nights discount rate.
Green choice option for those who do not know is the option to cancel housekeeping for 500 bonus points per day of your stay. Checkout day is excluded.
