Priority Club points are not earned for free night, however, InterContinental Hotel stays earn 2,000 points per stay and free night should not impact points earned. 

San Francisco rates using the Sunday night free for Friday, March 20 to Monday, March 23 brings the nightly rate down from $169 to $113 per night at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins. The InterContinental San Francisco nightly rate drops from $159 to $106 on a three night stay for the same dates.

$106 per night for the San Francisco InterContinental Hotel sure is cheap rooms.
